Un-x-pected Pleasure
Started as a trio 2001 in Malmö, Sweden. The CD "Un-x-pected Pleasure Trio" was released in 2004 and the trio played at Padova Porsche Jazzfestival in Italy 2004.
Mats Ingvarsson replaces on bass in 2005 and the trio toured in Finland.
In 2006 Anders Banke joins on sax and bass clarinet and the quartet records CD “Informal Talking” released on Kopasetic productions in 2007.

Footloose
A trio playing improvised music and has been working since 2002.
CD “Imprints” 2005 on Kopasetic Productions.
The group has collaborated with danish saxplayer Lotte Anker on several occations.

Mats Holtne Band. A band active in the early 90´s as a quartet and later as a quintet. Performed at clubs and festivals in Sweden and a live radiobroadcast.
Laws Of Chaos Double Trio: A band consisting of a string trio, plus guitar, sax and percussion. Played just a few gigs and a radiobroadcast 1996-98.

From 1995-1999 he played frequently with bassplayer Ulf Rådelius and his group Connection. The group toured in India 1996 and recorded a CD in 1999.

Has been a member of Bo Sylvéns Major Seven Guitar Big Band since 1984. The CD "Just Like That" was released in 2004.
